New Year, Lemon EO

I'm not one for new year's resolutions. Making a promise to myself that I will probably get tired of, slack off, and end up letting myself down is not how I want to start the year. Don't get me wrong though, I think it is still a great time to look back on the previous year and see how you can go forward in the new year slowly making changes to live a better lifestyle. With that being said, easier is always better!

That brings me to lemon essential oil... one of the easiest oils to use and with so many uses for one little bottle too! It is great for cleaning your home, washing fruits and veggies, diffusing for a fresh clean smell, and even drinking in water to detoxify your body naturally. Simply add a drop or two to a glass of water for a refreshing drink. It is a great way to flavor your water naturally without all the sugars and calories from mix-in packets. How many people can say they get to drink the same compound they clean with?!

Cleaning Tip: Add a few drops of lemon essential oil into a spray bottle (preferably glass) with vinegar and water for a natural and fresh multi-purpose cleaner. Use to wipe down tables, door knobs, fruits and veggies, sinks, handles, floors, or anything you feel like cleaning!

You can even use lemon EO as a natural alternative to remove the sticky residue left over from stickers and gum. Put a drop right on the tough spot, let sit a few seconds, and wipe up. It really is that easy!
