Peppermint essential oil is used in the industry to flavor toothpaste, candies and gum just to name a few. It is also used in muscle rubs. However, what makes doTERRA’s Peppermint oil stand out is the high quality and co-impact sourcing right here in the USA. It is 100% pure and safe to use internally. It is great to rub on your forehead for head tension or to put a drop in a glass of water for a stomach pain. It is also great for energizing the senses or for cooling down after a workout. (Amber’s Essentials Aromatic Spray in Peppermint-Orange is also great for that!) You can soothe tired muscles after a workout by massaging a few drops with fractionated coconut oil on the tense areas. You can even use peppermint essential oil in baking. So many uses stored up in that little bottle and a little definitely goes a long way!
Baking Tips: Peppermint EO (4-5 drops for one recipe) + brownie mix = Peppermint Brownies. You can also add a drop to a glass of hot chocolate for a refreshing minty spin on a classic winter drink! Really tasty for those cold nights at home and to share with company.

Fun Fact: DoTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil is so potent one drop is equivalent to 28 cups of peppermint tea! In the picture here you can see a microscopic view of a peppermint leaf. The white sacks are the essential oil.
I love seeing how things are made and wanted to share this one with you as well. It is a really cool video to watch on how peppermint essential oil is made right here in the USA!
